Tour itinerary: 2 Days to Zagora desert from Marrakech
Day 1: Marrakech - Atlas mountains - Ait Benhaddou - Zagora
After meeting at the place we agreed upon, we will depart from Marrakech towards the Zagora desert via the High Atlas mountains and Ait Benhaddou’s world heritage, the fortified ksar with its beautiful Kasbahs. Ait Benhaddou has been a natural decoration for many movie producers since the 1960s.
The second step is visiting Ouarzazate (Hollywood) and having lunch. After lunch, we will drive to the south and cross the second pass which is TiziN’Tnifift at 1710m, and Ait Saoun village, the former route of caravans for Sahara traders coming from “Timbuktu”, after that, we will drive through the road goes on along Draa Valley to reach Zagora and the dunes, where you will have a camel trek while you witness the magic sunset. Have a typical dinner and overnight in the dunes at our nomad desert camp.
Day 2: Zagora - High Atlas - Marrakech
After watching the magical sunrise! followed by a typical breakfast at the camp, then a camel ride back to meet your driver, start our journey backing to Marrakech, with some other stops to explore the oasis, and free time for lunch in a local restaurant, In the afternoon, you will continue via the Atlas Mountains, back to Marrakech. End of 2 days to Zagora desert.
