7 Days tour From Marrakech – Desert trails

Day 1: Arrival at Marrakech – Transfert to the hotel

Our driver will pick you up at the airport and you’ll have the day to relax while exploring the main square Jemaa el Fnaa and the souks.

Day 2: Full day to visit Marrakech

Today will have an optional private Guided Tour of Marrakech, with an official guide, you will see the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina, and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian the Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens, a night at a Riad in the Medina.

Day 3: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou kasbah – Ouarzazate – Dades valley

After breakfast in your Riad, our 7 Days tour From Marrakech departs to Dades Valley over Tizi-n-Tichka passing by the col 2260m while enjoying some attractive views of the High Atlas Mountains, and also the Berber villages. After lunch, we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. Before Arrival at Ouarzazate, you can visit the Atlas studios which host the largest movie studios in the world, such as Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones, The Mummy, and Gladiator … we will pass through the Valley of Roses in Kelaat  M’Gouna famous for its annual festival of roses. and continue to Dades Valley where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga desert

In the morning after breakfast, we will be heading towards Erg Chebbi dunes. Berber villages are distributed along the way, crossing through Todra Gorges, Tenghir, Tinjdad, and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the desert oasis of Tafilalet. Then, continue our 7 days from Marrakech, driving to the Merzouga desert, after relaxing for a few minutes, you will ride the camels on an adventure crossing the Erg Chebbi dunes. This is a golden opportunity to take great pictures of the sunset and sunrise. Spend the night in a desert camp, with drumming music in the middle of the Sahara desert.

Day 5: Merzouga desert – Khamlia – Ouzina dunes – M’harech gorge

After seeing the sunrise and after breakfast in the camp, you go back on the camels to Merzouga. The journey will begin by visiting Khamlia, a truly unique Gnawa village, and then traversing across some very diverse landscapes. We take the trail through sand rivers, villages lost in nothingness, nomad camps, and dry lakes until we reach the Tafraout desert: a magnificent place, accessible only by off-road tracks, overnight.

Day 6: M’harech gorges – Alnif – Tazarin – Draa valley – Ouarzazate

Today, the day’s journey will begin traversing the desert trails, passing the desert villages of Tafraout Ait Atta and Oumjrane. After pausing for lunch en route, we will depart for Tazarin, Draa Valley till reaching Ouarzazate. Overnight in the hotel or riad with dinner and breakfast.

Day 7: Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After Breakfast, depart toward Marrakech by crossing the high Atlas mountain. Stopping along the way and enjoying the wonderful surroundings then have lunch, before your arrival in Marrakech. Overnight, end of the 7 days desert tour.
