Day 1: Marrakech – High atlas mountains – Ait Benhaddou kasbah – Ouarzazate

After we meet at the place that we had agreed upon, we will start our 5 days tour from Marrakech to Fes, through the High Atlas via Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude), a stop to enjoy impressive landscapes and visit the Argan oil. Then, we continue to the Old Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, you will have free time to visit the old village, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1986, where many films took place such as Alexander, Gladiator, Babel… In the afternoon we will continue our way to Ouarzazate “the Hollywood of Africa” and stop for pictures next largest studio in Africa “Atlas Studio”. Dinner and Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Roses valley – Dades valley

Today, after having breakfast in the hotel, we will drive to Boumalne Dades via Skoura, to visit the 17th-century Kasbah of Amridil. then, to the capital of roses stop for stretch legs, and take the way that leads to nomad families living in caves and have a cup of minty tea, we have lunch in a local restaurant, continue our way to Dades Valley, Dinner, and overnight in The Hotel.

Day 3: Dades valley – Todra Gorges – Tinejdad – Erfoud – Merzouga desert.

After breakfast, our 5 days from tour will begin by driving to Erg-Chebbi via Tineghir. The old Moroccan Berber Jewish capital and visit the Todra Gorge, On our way we will have many stops for panoramic views, after that, we head to Touroug to have lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue our way to the Erg-Chebbi desert, passing by the Erfoud city capital of fossils and Rissani, then to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, (Merzouga ). Arrive at the hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 4 Merzouga – Khamlia – Nomad family 

Today morning, the route will begin through very diverse landscapes. The Paris-Dakar Rally Track will take us across sandy rivers, Berber villages, Nomads and dry lakes, and dunes of Ouzina: a magnificent place, which can only be accessed by off-road tracks to Khamlia, a truly unique village of Gnawa. Here we will enjoy the traditional music, then we will have a lunch break, we will eat Berber Pizza accompanied by tea and a very complete rice salad. Just before reaching the dunes of Merzouga, where you will meet your camel guide to cross the dunes to the camp. You will spend a special night on New Year’s Eve under the starry sky.

Day 5: Merzouga desert – Ziz valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes

Wake up early morning, to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dunes. After these joyful moments, you will ride your camel back to where you will meet your driver. Departure to Fes via Erfoud, and Ziz valley, stopping for an overlook of the Ziz valley. We Continue to Midelt across the pass of TiziN’talghamt, Have a lunch break. After lunch, you will be driven to Fes Through the Cedar forest and the middle Atlas mountain, with the possibility to see the Barbary apes (monkeys). You may have a stop in Ifrane before arriving at Fes. Drop off in Fes, end of the 5 days tour from Marrakech to Fes.
