We will start this tour at morning by picking you up from your hotel or Riad from fes the old imperial city , and travel through the middle Atlas via Ifrane the Moroccan Switzerland ,Azrou , cedar forest ,passing by several towns , Midelt (the capital of apple) ,Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907m) , Valley of palms . Erfoud , Rissani , , Merzouga desert, 4×4 around Erg chebbi , landscape , Nomad , camel trekking , spend in the berber tents Gnawa Music and we will back in our way to fes ,
After we met at the place that we had agreed upon . we will star our tour to southeast through the middle Atlas via Ifrane the Moroccan Switzerland” then Azrou where we will have a stop at the famous cedar forest the largest in Morocco for to see and play with Barbary apes. From here we drive further south passing by several towns and you will get the opportunity to view nomads living in tents on the way. then we will stop in Midelt where you will enjoy your lunch. Later on, continuing our drive to Merzouga through the Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907m) while enjoying the panoramic views. Also you will have stop for a panoramic view of Aoufous palmeraie along Ziz River. At the end of the day we will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, (Merzouga ). Arrive to the hotel where you will spend the night.
2nd day : 4×4 Tour Around Erg Chebbi dunes
After breakfast we will start driving to explore to the small villages around Erg Chebbi dunes such as Khamlia Merzouga and Hassi where we will have a stop at the garden to see canal irrigation system. Then continue the drive toward Merzouga. see Dayet Srji Lake that forms in spring time which attracts locks of pink flamingos and wildlife; Bird-watchers will enjoy this peaceful area. On our trail to Khamlia known as the village of black people who were slaves coming from Sudan. we expect to meet locals showing their desert foxes. also encounter desert mammals and reptiles In Khamlia, We will be hospitably welcomed with a cup of tea (Whiskey Berber) with their spiritual Gnawa music. Leaving Khamlia our next stop may for Picnic lunch under the shadow of a tree is on the panoramic view of golden dunes near the Algerian border. then continuing to visit a Nomad family living under Berber tent and who are taking care for herd of cattle, goats and camels. You will be introduced to family members and know about their way of life. Later on, you will have the chance to visit the sites of black volcanic rocks. then reach the panorama near Yasmina Auberge where you will be amazed with the scene of the dunes in addition to the nearby lake (springtime).Back to your hotel to have a rest and a mint tea before starting a camel trekking across the sandy dunes of the erg-chebbi. Camel trek across a desert landscape,you will enjoy the beauty of the sunset on camel, after 2 hours you will reach to the desert camp to spend night in a berbre tent. At your desert shelter, your camels are hobbled and mint tea is served. After a wonderful dinner, there will be a camp fire and drums playing,diner and overnight in berber tent .
Make sure to wake up early to witness the beautiful scenery of sunrise from the top of the next highest dune Afterwards, you will peacefully ride your camel back to your Riad appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes, changing with the light as the day progresses. After taking a shower and breakfast in the hotel, you will leave to Fez via the High Atlas mountains.On the way, we’ll pass through Rissani, Erfoud, Errachidia, Medilt and Azrou where We will stop for lunch and enjoy. then arriving to fes where Our guide will make sure you reach your chosen Riad or Hotel. Here we will leave at your Riad or Hotel .
