10 Days from Marrakech to Sahara Erg Chebbi and Essaouira

Day 1: Arrival at Marrakech – Transfert to the Hotel

Pick up you from Marrakech Airport and transfer to the Riad.

Day 2: Full Day To Visit Marrakech

Full day, to explore Marrakech with an official guide, you will see the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina, and its souks, And explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, The Saadian the Bahia Palace, And Majorelle Gardens, Night at a Riad in the Medina.

Day 3: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades valley

Today, after breakfast in the riad, depart to Ait Benhaddou over the mountains of high Atlas. Passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, in the afternoon, drive to Ouarzazate and you will have the opportunity to visit the Atlas film studios. Then, continue to the city center for a panoramic view of Taourirt Kasbah. After that, we will head to Kalaa M’gouna or Boumalne du Dades for a night. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Dades valley – Toudra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga dunes.

Leaving Dades Valley, we will journey towards Tinghir and its fabulous Todra Gorges Canyon. Here, there will be plenty of leisure time to enjoy the river and the fabulous views surrounding it. The day’s lunch will be offered by a local restaurant, before our midday drive to Tinjdad (an old irrigation system). After reaching Erfoud town, we will tour a local fossil craft workshop. Then, continuing on to the fascinating Merzouga Dunes at Erg Chebbi, we will exchange our vehicle for camels! You will be guided on a camel trekking ride while enjoying the sunset over the Sahara’s golden desert dunes, overnight in a desert camp

Day 5: Merzouga – Nomad Families – Merzouga

Wake up early morning, to catch the beauty of the sunrise in the desert, you will ride camels back to where you will meet your driver, you will spend all day around the desert, visiting Nomad families, and Gnaoua village Khamlia. Where we will be entertained with authentic instruments. After spending a worthwhile moment with Gnaoua, you will have a traditional Berber Pizza. Then, we drive to the Hotel or Riad, overnight.

Day 6: Merzouga – Rrissani – Alnif – Nkob – Agdz – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

After seeing the sunrise in the desert and after breakfast, you will go back on the camels to Merzouga. Then, start our journey to Ouarzazate through the Berber villages. Alnif, Tazarine, Agdez, Draa Valley, Down to Ouarzazate in the evening, spend the night in Ouarzazate.

Day 7: Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

Leaving Ouarzazate in the Morning, towards the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco. Tizi Tichka 2260m high offers impressive views of valleys, mountains, and many Berber villages nearby and arrives in Marrakech in the evening.

Day 8: Marrakech – Day trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls

The day tour will start in the morning toward Ouzoud Waterfalls, this site is located about 170 km from Marrakech, northeast of the city, you will discover beautiful waterfalls about 110 m high, and a beautiful landscape full of birds and monkeys. You will discover the magnificent waterfalls about 110 m in height and a wonderful landscape, Populated with birds and monkeys on arrival, if you like you can negotiate the services of a local guide to take walks or hikes, at a height of 1068m. We will be back in Marrakech in the evening.

Day 9: Marrakech – Day trip to Essaouira

Departing from Marrakech, you will be visiting the Port and its ramparts, the old Medina, and the Scala of Essaouira. At the port, you can enjoy fresh, grilled fish served by a local restaurant. The ambiance of this city is incredible and fascinating! Here, you can imagine yourself walking through the ancient Portuguese streets of the Old Medina of Essaouira, also known as Mogador. The tour will return to Marrakech in the evening.

Day 10: Marrakech Airport

Transfer from your hotel to the Airport. The End of the 10 days tour.
